My wife and I tried this out and had a lot of fun with it! We want to try out your variant suggestions but also potentially add more empty spaces, like the paths, to mess with how the landscape shifts when a player moves around.
NOTE FOR IPHONE PLAYERS: I had to hide fairies and emojis by first creating a card, entering a bunch of spaces, adding my own ellipses, then backing out so the card preview is created before adding the fairy or X emojis further down. Otherwise it seemed to always preview whatever text I had at the bottom of the note.
